Arctic Fibre is the world’s first-ever 18,000 km repeatered submarine fiber optic network connecting London, England with Tokyo, Japan and Seattle, Washington through an express system, and parts in between through an omnibus system (Cambridge Bay, NU; Gjoa Haven BU; Taloyoak, NU; Igloolik BU; Hall Beach BU; Cape Dorset, NU; Iqaluit, NU; Highbridge, UK; Chisasibi, QC; Point Thomson, AK; Prudhoe Bay, AK; Barrow, AK; Wainwright, AK; Point Hope, AK; Kotzebue, AK; Nome, AK; Shemya, AK; Cork, Ireland; Seattle, WA; Hokkaido, Japan and Ajigaura, Japan) via the Canadian Northwest Passage with an RFS of 2015/2016.
